From the moment my husband arrived, I was overwhelmed. My husband had back surgery and it was an experience we had not expected. The care and treatment he received from all the LIJVS staff were outstanding. It should be acknowledged. The nursing staff and the staff that took his food order were kind and compassionate. One person stood out among them all, Nurse Rose! Her genuine heartfelt care and her smile greeting us every day from the time we arrived to the time we left were the most amazing feeling of care and warmth. She took care of my husband every day like he was her own family. I was concerned about leaving him in the hospital but after meeting Nurse Rose all my concerns were put to rest. If I could give her 10 gold stars plus, I would stand up and shout it out! Thank you… thank you… thank you! She went over and above her duties to make sure not only that my husband was ok but also to assure that all my concerns and questions were answered and addressed. I cannot say enough about this nurse. We have been to many other hospitals in our life by far LIJVS Nurse Rose stands above the rest. You should be proud and thankful for such a great employee who cares for your patients like Nurse Rose. I would love to see her receive this award for her outstanding care and kindness to bring faith back to patients.

PS- Best experience outstanding staff. Truly someone who loves her job and cares about her patients. Hopefully, we never need an operation again LOL but would request Nurse Rose and her amazing smile!
