I have been in the hospital several times in the last year, so I have had many nurses in that time. However, I was immediately drawn to Vikki because of her empathy and compassion in addressing my needs, taking time to explain and answer questions, and immediately contacting my doctors if I had a concern for them.

In my opinion, she is a head above the other nurses that I've had and should be recognized for her dedication to nursing. In all honesty, I can't pick just one situation. I have been in and out of this hospital for a few years now and I have never had anyone make me feel more at home than her. She stays on top of everything and does everything in her power to make sure my needs are met. No matter how busy or stressed out she may or may not be, she doesn't let it show.

Her work ethic and personality make me feel at home. She treats me like a person and not like some number. You can tell that she genuinely cares and takes pride in what she does. This place could use a lot more like her. I for one am honored to have not only met her but also to have her taken care of me during my stay here. So once again, I would like to say thank you for putting me under her care. Hopefully, if I ever am back in here for any reason I can get her again.
