My mother was taken by ambulance to LGH and it was determined she needed emergency surgery. Unfortunately, my mother’s health turned critical and it was determined she would not survive the night. Nothing prepares you for the loss and emptiness of life without your mother. But as I look back on this experience the one thing that gives me great comfort is the outstanding care provided by her ICU nurse Brady. He was compassionate yet upfront about what she was facing. He treated my mom with dignity and respect. He not only cared for my Mom but our entire family. Words cannot express the gratitude we have for being able to spend those final precious hours with our Mom knowing that she was in knowledgeable yet compassionate hands. Thank you, Brady! Keep up the good work - you are making a difference!
