Claire was a wonderful nurse for my son's delivery. She was so kind and patient with me and talked me through everything as it was happening. She helped me figure out how to push and was so encouraging. I ended up having some complications after my delivery (a hematoma developed and I was in excruciating pain) and Claire was one of the nurses who did her best to keep me calm. My doctor was taking a long time to come and check on me and she made sure to stay on him and keep calling his phone and tell him he needed to get there quickly. They ended up having to take me back for 2 different emergency surgeries and give me 3 blood transfusions. I was having a panic attack before the second surgery and she grabbed my hand and helped me breathe. She even stayed after her shift and went back to the OR area to check on me and make sure I was okay. She came into my room on her next shift and told me how glad she was that I was okay and how hard she was praying for me during everything. I am so grateful for her and the compassion she showed me!
