Rudy’s caring concern and expertise were apparent when I came to your ER in great pain. It was so reassuring to feel I was in such empathetic care. When I hear the phrase, “Nurses are angels on earth”. Rudy will come to mind. I think you have an orchid among your daisies. Please give him my thanks as I don’t think I did at the time.

He was very attentive and treated me like family. I felt love for him because he acted as if he was related to me. Had great compassion for me and made me feel safe.

Rudy had a patient that came in with a head laceration that was intoxicated with PTSD. The patient was very agitated and combative, security was called and Rudy was able to calm him down. The patient was also completely covered in blood and Rudy got him cleaned up. Rudy also responded quickly when the patient lost consciousness while on the toilet. He quickly called for additional help and the attending physician and go the patient stabilized. It was a difficult case to care for and Rudy worked with this patient phenomenally.
