For her to go the extra mile and let the whole team (even the doctor) know about my fear was a “wow” moment.
I was scheduled for a myelogram today. Even yesterday, when the nurse called me about my procedure – I told her I was terrified because I had a myelogram years ago and developed a myelogram headache. Anyway, while on the phone I told the nurse about my bad experience and I also mentioned to her that I was really terrified, and extremely nervous and even though we were on the phone she really tried to ease my mind.

Long story short, this morning was the day of the myelogram and when they called me back it started to really scare me but between these two nurses and the techs, I could tell they really cared. In fact, the nurse that had called me yesterday had already informed the techs, the other nurse, and even the Dr. that was doing the procedure how terrified I was. For her to go the extra mile and let the whole team (even the doctor) know about my fear was a “wow” moment. It showed how much she cared about a complete stranger and she took the time to let everyone know. I appreciate this more than these nurses know I even got sick with that dumb headache plus I was sick to my stomach but they immediately jumped into action to make me feel better I owe them a huge thanks.
