Macy showed compassion, and kindness, and provided gentle care for our sweet baby girl during her last moments.
Macy received 11 nominations!
Miss Macy went above and beyond to make sure my whole family was taken care of during this stressful time. She wanted to know more about KA which in turn, made a huge connection with my son and daughter. It was difficult for a 16-, 12-, and 10-year-old to see their sister this way, but Macy had conversations with them that gave them courage. Macy had several ideas that helped the girls. She had craft time, painting of KA's nails, and doing her hair. She also helped the girls by having them express their minds on poster boards to send home with their sister. Macy has been an exceptional nurse for KA’s care and for our family’s health and happiness. We had the opportunity to share many stories of KA with her which in return helped us smile and remember to hold on to those precious memories no matter how much pain and brokenness we feel right now.

Macy has been taking amazing care of my stepdaughter while she has been in PICU. While I am having to say goodbye, she is still taking amazing care of her while we are preparing to donate her organs. She has gone above and beyond to take care of her and us. I could not ask for a better nurse. She is always in our room making sure her meds are taken care of, her vitals are stable, and preparing us for the next steps in this process. I am so thankful for her. She is so warm, welcoming, and compassionate. She has made this awful time in our lives a little easier to cope with.

Macy did an amazing job comforting us in a time when we really needed it. She took care of my daughter during her last hours of being with us. Macy made her as comfortable as she could and answered any questions that we asked. Again, Macy is amazing and I'm really glad my family and I got to have her as a nurse.

She has been on point with both the family and the care of a sweetheart of a child. She's always asking if any of us are okay and if we need anything. She takes the time to listen to our stories and needs. She has been very polite to my family! Especially my sister after losing her daughter. She has been amazing and has taken very good care of my niece. She's a real blessing in disguise. She made my niece and everyone comfortable.

Macy could tell my wife and I were exhausted and went above and beyond to make us comfortable for the overnight stay before the end of her shift. She's been taking great care of my sister. I've watched Macy take care of my sister and it makes me feel warm and happy that there is someone here to do that in her final hours.

She took excellent care of my dying granddaughter RIP KA. She has taken really awesome care of our granddaughter. She was very helpful and did a lot for the family,
