Whitney is amazing! She took exceptional care of my dad while he was in the hospital being treated for a host of issues that compiled in a short period of time. She specifically was monitoring his IV medications, high heart rate, and his continuous dialysis machine. Suddenly a few days before he had gone into kidney failure and was hypertensive. He also had a cancer diagnosis three weeks prior. We felt we were getting the run around by the doctors operating in a silo.

Not only did Whitney take excellent care of my dad but she also took the time to get to know me and my mom. She read his full chart, asked us questions, and looked through my own personal notes pertaining to my dad's health journey. She helped us understand why and how my dad had reached the condition he was in. She eased our hearts and minds. She did for us what the doctors couldn't. She was even able to bring joy to a stressful situation for my dad by bantering with him and going along with his jokes. She made sure my mom and I were taken care of also.

She took the time after her official 12 hours were up to hold my dad's hand and talk to him and encourage him and listen to him intently. We even heard from the nurses the following day that she had called in to check on my dad and see how he was doing. My whole family was truly touched by her knowledge, kindness, and the way in which she provided comprehensive care. Whitney is a true angel that blessed my family. She is truly a DAISY Nurse.
