On this particular day he was not assigned to my mom but came to speak and offer assistance to get her ready for the change.
My mom is currently in the CCU and I was blown away by Brian’s bedside manner and outstanding communication skills. We have a very large family but he took the time to learn a couple of names and every time he entered the room her greeted my mom and explained the care he was about to provide. During her time in the CCU, I noticed it was just his way of doing things never too busy to just step in and help out. It’s as if he sees patients not just patients assigned to him.
One day they were going to remove the ventilator to see if my mom could breathe with just the support of oxygen; this particular day he was not assigned to my mom but came to speak and offer assistance to get her ready for the change, he even offered a tip to the nurse assigned to get my mom cleaned up and put clean sheets on the bed to make sure she was relaxed and calm when they removed the ventilator. He is professional knowledgeable and personal which in highly stressed and emotional times makes the world of difference.
