Nurse Leslie put my concerns regarding my granddaughter, L, to rest. I don't know if my apprehension was regarding pink eye that I thought she had or what… either way Leslie told me her vitals were good. Leslie called her a munchkin which I call her as well! My granddaughter is a great judge of character and she said “Leslie was awesome!” L is 5 and can be quite distracted due to the fact that she's in the middle of her parent’s inability to get along and work things out. For L's sake, she lives and attends school with me and her papa seeing one parent on weekends if they are available. Leslie, I believe, could sense my frustration and my concerns with my own physical impairments. I felt like crap and I didn't feel that I got any positive results yesterday when L and I went to a different emergency room. That doctor made me feel uncomfortable. It is what it is… right? We are blessed to have Leslie. We need more Leslies to put Grammys, like me, at ease and little munchkins as well! God bless you Nurse Leslie - Triage Angel!
