I was hospitalized in March and Maria was my night nurse. She was very kind and sincere while admitting me for the first time I was hospitalized ever. Maria is a seasoned nurse. She is very compassionate, energetic, and hard-working. She made sure that my IV antibiotics were started as ordered and brought me nausea medication if I needed them. She also contacted my doctor if I had any questions or concerns. I would like to nominate her for The DAISY Award for making my stay at Hillcrest as normal as it could be for another nurse like me.
