Although all of the nurses on this unit and the respiratory staff have been phenomenal, these two made me feel like family. Nancy nd Raul were attentive and carried on conversations with me during this difficult time for my husband. They were very calm and reassuring. We felt comfortable and supported the entire time. They were very caring.

Raul is very OCD, so he made sure everything was perfect at all times. Nancy has been very sweet and approachable; although I know they both had other patients, they made me feel like my husband was their only patient. I felt assured that they were doing the best they could for my husband. I am a nurse myself, so I know a good group when I see one and this ICU paints the picture of teamwork, support, and healing hands. I literally want to tattoo their names on my body so that if anything ever happens to me, send me here and give me these two nurses!
