My nurse is an excellent nurse. She demonstrated detailed and prompt attention to our father as well as to his 3 children, wife, and other family members, who have taken turns watching him 24 hours a day. After our father underwent PEG tube surgery, she graciously offered to show us how to change his dressing properly after he is released from University Hospital. She empathized with us and offered words of encouragement. She taught us how to use the suction tube properly and was consistent in swapping out our father’s soiled diapers. She also ensured that the family members were as comfortable as possible. We are extremely blessed to have had Lidia caring for our father. She felt like part of our family. We are eternally grateful to Lidia. God bless her and the rest of the health care team.
