Jillian did an amazing job going above and beyond for my labor and delivery. As a first time mom, I wasn’t too sure what to expect or how I’d handle labor/delivery. Jillian was so attentive, patient, encouraging, and supportive. She walked me through every step, with every detail. She coached me through what to expect at every step and all my options. Even when my labor stalled for hours, she remained my light and cheered me on even when I told her I couldn’t do it. I went without an epidural for most of my labor and I truly can say the only reason I was able to labor that long without one and then sit still through contractions and an initial failed epidural locate was because of Jillian. By the time I finally made it to pushing, I was so exhausted from labor I didn’t think I had it in me to push and she coached and pushed me the whole time our baby girl’s shoulder got caught on the way out. Even with chaos as everyone swarmed me to help get her out, I was able to stay calm because of Jillian. I cannot begin to put into words the gratitude I have for her and that she was my nurse during this amazing milestone. She went above and beyond to meet me/my new family’s every need. All I can say is thank you!! She and my daughter share a birthday now too.
