She heard my fear and provided empathy and impeccable service.
Early morning pain was 10. She gave me oxygen, talked me through, and taught me to ask for Tylenol rather than chase pain after it started. Late afternoon, after a knee MRI and heart echo, she was reading the chart. I was discharged by my Dr. I panicked, no conversation with Dr. to explain my situation, blood clots in the lungs and legs. 1st day changed from Lovenox shot to Eloquis, with no care instructions. I was spiraling to A-FIB. Sabita seized the situation. I am from Florida visiting family and I fell. Insurance wouldn’t cover referrals to Orthopedic or home health. I was scared. She calmed my panic, arranged for me to stay another night, discussed transport to 2nd story condo, she initiated conversations with Ortho person & PT person. Provided overview of what to expect from Eloquis, Rx & coupons. Educated me on deep vein thrombosis, PE, and the complex fears of the right Medial Meniscus. We discussed the pain in the knee and what I could expect, materials of medical records, and phone numbers if I needed anything. Mine was a meaningful experience. My 1st rodeo with pain, blood thinners, blood clots and being immobilized. She heard my fear and provided empathy and impeccable service. She hits the road running. She knows where to go and whom to talk to for results. I left the hospital with a plan for my recovery and an appreciation for her go-to moves. She is great and her thinking is exceptional
