I want to say thank you to all the staff working in PDC they are all good and taking care of their patients. But there is this particular nurse who really made a great impact on me and my children. My 2 children are receiving IV medication 2 times a week because of their condition and for me, it’s not easy to accept and see your children not well, we have to come and go to the hospital every now and then and see my children suffering, with this nurse she treats my children very well and as a mother. I can see that my children are comfortable with her, she has this special connection to my children it’s like she is their sister. I felt the concern that she shows for helping me with my children, it really had a big impact on me. It’s not easy what my family is going through but with this nurse, I felt that I have a friend and sister by my side. She is very gentle with my children as she interacts with them. My children love her and I’m very happy that we met her in this hospital. After 2 years of coming into this hospital, relationships build by bonding with patients and their mothers, lessening the burden and journey of the children to make them feel comfortable and feel at home.
