I was having trials and tribulations that could make anyone question themselves. However this day there was one nurse who was behind me 100%. When my patient's condition was worsening she had the OR ready in a flash; when another issue occurred she was being my runner and helped me set up my patient for a transfer with quick timing. She set up another patient's room for me when I was dealing with a little more than I could chew. Beth never missed a beat. She kept asking me if I was all right. After the incidents that had happened, I didn't get to see much of her afterward to thank her for all she did to help me. I had a couple of other RNs help me, but not to the extent she did! When I heard others question my knowledge, she was still there assisting me keeping me calm. Maybe I can thank her this way and truly say thank you. When I was being treated poorly you treated me like an equal and that's all I ever wanted or asked for. I hope you get the award, Beth. Thank you from the bottom of my heart because you helped me when you didn't have to or need to. Keep being you and never change!
