Jasmine has been a CNA for years and recently achieved the title of LPN. I am beyond excited to watch Jasmine as she grows as a nurse. Jasmine is always looking for opportunities to learn. When she doesn’t know or understand something she reaches out for an explanation. This is something that you do not see in everyone. This makes her valuable in many ways, far beyond the care she provides directly to our Veterans. Jasmine is committed to the unit and facility. Jasmine has taken on extra duties such as haircuts for the Veterans during this Covid pandemic since she is a licensed cosmetologist.

Jasmine is not afraid to speak up for our Veterans and their care. If she sees something that is not correct or something that can be improved upon she advocates for the best care. Her observation skills are exceptional. She notices subtle changes and advises staff on changes and treatments that need to be started sooner rather than later.

She treats her Veterans like she would want to be treated and how she would expect her family to be treated. She treats them like human beings that had honorable titles and careers. Jasmine shows excellence each day that she is on CLC caring for our Veterans. If she makes a mistake, she owns it and strives to improve. She is thoughtful and takes the role of a leader always looking for ways to grow as a nurse, as a unit member, and as a team. Jasmine thank you for all that you do for the Veterans on CLC.
