Saf is a very caring nurse, she is motivated and has compassion toward her patients and their families.
Safiyah is caring and compassionate in all the work she does with both patients and colleagues. She has shown resilience during challenging personal circumstances which she has overcome with great confidence and a 'can do' attitude. She has developed so much in her clinical skills since being with the team and has a great attitude toward accepting feedback and learning. Safiyah is ambitious, and has a desire and vision for herself and the future of nursing, she will make a fantastic leader at a senior level as she continues to build on the leadership skills she already demonstrates.
Safiyah is loved by her patients and colleagues alike and this is attributed to her friendly, open, and honest nature. it’s always a pleasure to work with Saf, I can rely on her to ensure the work is done with an element of fun which is uplifting! Thank you, Saf.

Safiyah is such a dedicated and hardworking nurse. Safiyah shows amazing patient care to her caseload and has such good and trusting relationships with them, she goes above and beyond for her patients every day at work, showing compassion and kindness. Safiyah is very team-orientated, and always finds ways to support her team, which makes our community nursing team run so smoothly.

She is very committed to her job, she has empathy, and will sometimes go out of her way to attend a home visit to provide care to her patients and their families. Saf pays attention when others need help, and not turning a blind eye, she is very supportive and helpful to everyone within the team. She never runs away from any distressing situations and she is loved by all her patients and her families.

Reflecting as a third-year nursing student I would like to nominate Safiyah for The DAISY Award for having such a compassionate and great work ethic. Safiyah has supported me through my learning experience and has been a great representation of what a nurse is and for that, I am grateful and would want her to be recognized and know that her work doesn’t go unnoticed.
