The first time Michelle was my nurse she went above and beyond her “job title” making sure that my long stay was as good as it could be considering everything. Michelle put up with me when I was in serious pain. She always did new things to try to help make changing my bandages easier and less painful. She even made arrangements to take me outside. That never happens! Not only has Michelle done an “over the top job”, but she also made me feel more like a friend than just another patient. I will definitely miss seeing Michelle. She said that she has been picking up extra shifts just for me. I will be happy when she kicks me out of here. Michelle takes her job to heart and cares for her patients as if they were her own family or close friends. She is truly an amazing nurse.
