A patient’s daughter took the time to fill out three nomination cards with great detail about Matt’s care. Here is a summary of what she would like to recognize: My mom experienced a deep level of communication, empathy, patience, transparency, and understanding as Matt’s patient. I, myself, have never experienced a nurse who made her stay engaging and made her feel that she was a top priority. If Matt is committed to something or someone it’s timeliness. He took the time to go through all her medications, new and old, to explain everything before she was discharged. Caring and listening truly make a difference! His coordination of care is something that we figured existed, but never found until now. Matt displayed excellent care 100% of the time by including patient goals and putting my mom first.
