I was admitted to the maternity ward when an ultrasound of my twin daughters revealed prolapsed membranes. I was hospitalized for nearly a week, trying desperately to save my pregnancy. I will always remember the 7am - 7pm shift on the day my daughters were born and then passed away, as Kelly Mackey was by my side the whole day. It was beyond devastating but Kelly made it bearable and even beautiful. She lovingly chose special blankets & clothes for my girls. She took pictures and gave us their hand and footprints, gorgeous name cards, and birth cards. I still look at their memory boxes today. Kelly cried with us, she held me when the doctor struggled to do the spinal tap for my epidural. She genuinely cared. Kelly is like an angel in living form. The depth of my gratitude, and that of my husband, is endless for Kelly.
