My husband and I would like to nominate Crystal Moore. We knew there was something special about her from the moment we met her. She made my husband and I feel at ease. Crystal not only showed compassion but patience in taking care of my husband. She never hesitated to address all of his concerns. Crystal always assured him he was not a burden and that she was there to take care of him. As you are aware, the manner in which a nurse communicates with a patient and his or her family is of the uttermost importance. You as a nurse are there for the patient. Crystal demonstrated this quality. Crystal always lit up the room with her smile and laughter. It was a joy to see my husband smile. Crystal’s qualities of compassion, kindness, and most of all communication, are the ingredients of being a good nurse. My husband and I wish there were more nurses like Crystal! She is a good role model for other nurses. She demonstrates professionalism and knowledge. I will always be thankful to her for the exceptional care she gave my husband. My husband and I have great respect for her.
