When my husband was moved to the 7th floor from surgical stepdown, we were very concerned about the care he would receive. That all changed Meredith came on duty. She was very professional, caring, and knowledgeable about the surgery my husband had 4 days prior. It was in a very private area and she treated him with dignity and respect to make him feel at ease. She was very attentive and would check in numerous times to see if he needed anything to make his stay as comfortable as possible. We were informed at 4:30 Wednesday afternoon that he could come home on Thursday. Meredith coordinated all the departments necessary to make this happen. I heard her numerous times on the phone with different departments making sure everything got done. It took her until 4:45 to complete this and even more sure the items from the pharmacy were brought to the room to expedite our departure. She is an extraordinary person and a credit to her profession.​
