Hedy was by far one of the most kind and compassionate nurses I have come to meet. Every time she came by she would check on the patient but she would also go out of her way to check on our family. She never gave us the impression that she was rushing off to the next room. She made our family feel like a priority. She took the time to answer any questions we had, even if they weren’t medical related. Her gentle approach would always help ease any tension in the room. She was the breath of fresh air we needed to help us all make it through these difficult times. As a baby nurse who graduated in 2020, I hope to one day be half the nurse she is. Nurses like her are who inspired me to become a nurse. Thank you for all that you do.
