When I was 22 weeks pregnant I was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. I was scared for myself but more importantly for my unborn baby. We both made it through my two brain surgeries and at 32 weeks gestation a decision was made to welcome my baby into the world so that I could begin treatments. Into my story enters amazingly awesome Carrie. My aunt wanted to see if we could somehow get a professional photographer in delivery to capture my baby's arrival. She made a phone call and someone knew someone who called Carrie and she was immediately on board to make this happen. It meant so much to me and my family knowing this baby will be my only. Carrie took the extra time and effort to coordinate everything so that we had the most perfect delivery. She showed true compassion to me and my family. Always concerned about our needs and fulfilling our wishes. Carrie was a true blessing. She went above and beyond nursing expectations. Difference Maker!
