After I delivered my son I was moved over to postpartum, and during night shift Erica was my nurse. Let me just say she was absolutely amazing. Her bedside manner was everything a recovering mother needs. She was very attentive and helped with any concern I had. My son had an issue with amniotic fluid in his lungs and he turned purple choking on it. She helped me tremendously and took him to get checked out and sucked out the fluid from his mouth. She brought him back to me and reassured me and informed me on what to do if that were to happen again. She was also the only person to help me get my pain under control, trying different medication as well as going above and beyond to make me handmade hot pads for my back. She absolutely deserves recognition for everything she does for patients. Even when staffing was short she never acted like it.
