Michelle helped me in just trying to soak in all of my last moments with my boy.
I had my first baby boy via emergency C-section. I was dealing with an extreme amount of pain from my C-section and was in critical condition from all of my complications. We let our baby boy pass in our arms. The few hours that Michelle was with us during this time were also the hardest moments we’ve ever had to experience. Not only was she taking great care of our boy the whole time she was his nurse, but she was also helpful with my recovery. She was always trying to check on me to make sure I was okay and comfortable.
Michelle helped me in just trying to soak in all of my last moments with my boy. From holding him up for me to be able to kiss him to giving him his first bath, she made a huge impact. During those last few moments with him, she broke down with me. I was sobbing while holding him and I went to hand him off to her and tears began to roll down her cheeks. I’ll never forget it. To have my son's nurse sit there and cry along with me. It meant so much to me. She gave me so much support and the exact kind of support that I needed in those last hours. She was an amazing nurse and I will never forget her. She handled him with the most gentle care. Kind, caring, compassionate, gentle, and empathetic. I could not have asked for a better person to take care of my angel and I truly believe that she was meant to be his nurse.
