Evelyn took what little time she had to always make sure I was okay and not in pain. She made sure I understood everything I was told and answered any questions I had. She was like a mom to me and I was blessed to have her looking over me. Thank you so much, Evelyn, for watching over me and making me feel like I mattered. Thank you for never making me feel like my feelings and pain didn’t matter. I wish you could have been my nurse every day. You even came to see me when you were on the other side of the unit and I cried knowing you care that much.
