I was admitted to LGH from the ER with a toe infection. I’m turning 60 this year and it was the first time I spent a night in the hospital since I was born. My stay at LGH continued for a week until I was released. During this time, the variety of staff I met at LGH were all very gracious and helpful, and the doctors are great. I received really good care from all the nurses and assistants that helped me. Of the people that cared for me, Floating Nurse Heather stands out.

Nurse Heather was assigned to my room for two days. My experience with her is that she is a very warm and kind person who genuinely cares for her patient’s well-being. She was present whenever a doctor visited my room. She has a way of keeping a smile on your face while providing full attention to your needs at the moment. She is thoughtful of her patients and their visitors and is ready to be of assistance. Heather is a sincere, compassionate person and an excellent ambassador for LGH. I am a big fan of hers and I will always have positive thoughts about my stay at LGH. Floating Nurse Heather is an extraordinary nurse who brightens the room when she enters and who makes a positive difference in the lives of people around her, as she did for me.
