After arriving to the Emergency Department, we met Jerry who would be caring for us for the rest of the day. We received news that our one-month-old daughter had a very significant chance of dying. Just as any parents would be, my husband and I were frantic. He was amazing at helping us hold it together and provided reassurance. Mr. Sartor advocated for us and got us the correct care we needed. He went above and beyond in everything that he did for us in the emergency department. In a time of desperate measures, Mr. Sartor did a phenomenal job. I have never felt so much compassion from a nurse before we met him.
