My daughter was in the emergency room as she had fallen on her already broken arm. The arm was only a splint cast. My daughter, who has severe anxiety, had so much pain in her arm and had a panic attack as well fearing she had further damaged her arm. She proceeded to call 911 and come to the Emergency room for evaluation. She told me on the phone she was worried about what people would think of her, "I have Blue hair Mom! And I am in severe pain! They are going to think I want drugs or won't believe me!” I tried to verbally reassure her and met her at the Emergency room.

Marc-Elie George was her nurse, and we are truly thankful for that. The way in which he treated her, gained her trust and eased her anxiety. She felt respected. He involved her in her treatment plan and reassured her that he was there to help and make her comfortable. That he could see she was in pain. Marc-Elie showed her sincere empathy and compassion and kindness as well as great nursing care, allowing her to get the care she needed and be released. No words can express our thanks for his exceptional patient care. We hold him in high regard for his practice as a nurse.
