Last Friday I needed a cardioversion which was successfully performed at AJ Lansdale. Shannon was assigned to take care of me. Shannon was simply spectacular in her nursing skills and her bedside manner. She told me she would be with me all the way and she was just that. She accompanied me from the prep area to the procedure room and stayed by my side the entire time. When I awoke, she was the first person I saw. Her conversation, attitude, and bedside manner made for me, what was a scary time, more relaxing. I'm even fairly certain she put off her lunchtime until I was back in the recovery area. (I thought I heard one of the nurses tell her she would take over so Shannon could go to lunch but Shannon said she would take her break once I was back in recovery.) That is what she did. Wow! Your hospital and your medical staff are lucky to have someone such as Shannon as part of your family. I am truly thankful for the kind attention and care she showed to me.
