Emily was M's nurse for most of the 2 weeks during his stay on 8W. She was amazing. She was kind and compassionate and her passion for her job showed in how she handled her patients. Outside of the normal extraordinary care, Emily went above and beyond to make sure M felt safe during this scary time. Every morning she took a picture of the Pittsburgh skyline that M could see. It may seem like a simple act but one that made a world of difference at the start of his day. UPMC and 8W are extremely lucky to have such a passionate and caring nurse.
