Marybeth Haggerty has an infectious smile and laugh that can brighten your day. She brings joy to the workplace and is always willing to lend a helping hand. As a truly transformational leader, she helped to successfully lead the Pavilion 3 unit to a Tier 1 Team index for two years in a row. Marybeth demonstrated the ability to build strong relationships and create an environment of trust and respect. Through this relationship building, she has a heightened awareness of the organizational needs and strives for excellence. She has fine-tuned her ability to have crucial conversations in real-time while promoting a non-punitive environment. This ability is essential when ensuring the psychological safety of the team. Whether it be championing a new initiative or connecting with patients and families, her communication style and energy enable the recipient to truly understand the message being relayed. Marybeth was a key contributor to the development of the Move to Improve Boards which started on Pavilion 3 and has since spread hospital-wide. Marybeth understood the importance of sharing quality data with the team and how it can help improve the care we provide. We are lucky to have Marybeth as part of the Cohen’s family.
