I have never in my life met a nurse who is more compassionate, more engaging with patients, or more willing to help with a lending hand. In my experience throughout my healthcare career and schooling, Angel has been the best nurse I have come across. Angel is the epitome of her name. She brings grace and passion to each patient. Angel takes time to understand what is going on with their care and takes time to sit with each patient and explain what is going on for the day. She has touched so many lives and will continue to do so throughout her nursing career. Angel is extremely versatile and it shows. She is skilled in nursing, knowledgeable, a great educator, and a fantastic team player. We have had a patient or patients together several times and each day I have been overjoyed. One time Angel and I had a patient she was able to bring a smile to their face, made them comfortable, and took extra time out of her day to advocate for this patient to have their necessary medications and procedure done on time. Angel is the embodiment of what it takes to be a fantastic nurse.
