I would like to express my special thanks to this very dedicated professional and caring nurse, Daniela. Her ability to get right to the heart of a problem shows qualities you would expect to find in a highly seasoned nurse. as a patient, I was experiencing a battle with low blood sugar but wasn't fully aware at the time. She came into my room, and saw the signs of low blood sugar, and corrected the situation without hesitation. She also contacted the hospital doctor about the situation, when the hospital doctor arrived my sugar levels were back to normal and I was feeling better. The doctor was extremely relieved and proud of how expertly she had handled the situation.

Daniela is also one of the most proficient nurses at starting an IV - without pain or a fuss!!! I am a very tough stick and she has demonstrated the highest ability to start an IV on any patient while showing and explaining completing an IV for her shadow student. She has a personality to help calm and relax and put at ease any patient when performing even the toughest of nursing medical procedures. The tone she uses with the patient to fully explain what she is doing and relaxes them with her soothing voice and delicate touch. She displays attributes normally found in the most seasoned nurse, and is a true asset to the hospital, her profession, and especially to her patients.
