Liz Peraza is what every NICU nurse should strive to be. Every night that Liz was taking care of our daughter we felt more comfortable, educated, consoled, and confident because of her exemplary care. Liz made it a point to give us all the information we needed without having to ask, she answered our questions and concerns in a manner that set our minds and hearts at ease. After we had been ignored and belittled by the medical staff, Liz took the time to listen to us and confirm that our suspicions were correct. She fought and advocated for our daughter when very few would. Liz Peraza deserves to be recognized for her tireless work and compassion for the PARENTS as well as the NICU babies that she cares for.
