There was a patient having a CT biopsy. She was extremely nervous and anxious, to say the least. Medications couldn’t be used to help. Brian, seeing her in distress, went into action. Without hesitation, he put on a lead and leaned in with the patient in the CT tube. He was her rock for the whole procedure keeping her grounded, going even as far as singing to her (he’s even a good singer). Together they got through the situation. The patient had nothing but gratitude for his selfless actions. Without him, she would never have been able to have this extremely important procedure done and start the treatment she needed. Later that day she left us with tears in her eyes, not from fear and anxiety-like at the start of the day, but with appreciation and thanks for Brian being what she needed.
