My husband had a cardiac arrest in January, and we were there for 2 weeks. She was amazing then, knew how to push my husband to walk using the Spirometer more, eating, etc. to regain his strength. She would stop in periodically even if she wasn't our nurse to give him a pep talk.

So now a few months later we were back at Mercy, and I ran into Jennifer in the cafeteria, and we recognized each other, and we talked for a second, and then we were off to check on E and to see if he was coming to her floor so she could watch over him again. And she did! She just cares about her patients even though she wasn't our nurse she still came and checked multiple times on us. She asked about our family, and we asked about hers, she truly cares. With all the short staff everywhere, we need to thank and acknowledge the ones who deserve it. As we were discharged, she said goodbye and also a hug, not just a hug but, a hug from the heart. she is genuinely a wonderful person.
