When is cancer ever not stressful? When is cancer ever not prevalent, especially at RPH/Guthrie Sayre? The nurse's ability, skill, grace, patience, knowledge-sharing, math skills, and overall kindness and professionalism made us feel like we were the only special case or people going through treatment of our family member's troubling diagnosis. Not only did Meg jump into critical action three times when our mom struggled with treatment reactions and panic, but the nurse also impressed us greatly with how safe, certain, compliant, and diligent she was each time she called on a team member to do a chemo check. This was wholly significant and reassuring to our mom and to us. This level of calm, seriousness, and attention to detail is not what we witnessed from everyone, but we did every single time from Meg, and that deserves the highest praise. Meg's skillset should be modeled as a best practice industry standard in your unit.
