Tammy is an expert in patient care and procedures. I am eternally grateful for her compassionate and timely efforts on our behalf.
This nurse's clinical skills, her team-oriented philosophy, and especially her compassionate care exemplify the kind of nurse that our patients, their families, and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model.

RN Mounts is nominated on both a personal and professional basis. My family has had several dermatologic-related challenges in the past six months and between the pending transfer of the Dermatology Provider and the need for referrals, it's been a real trial. Or could have been except for Tammy's on-the-spot identification of short-notice cancellations and her administrative acumen that resolved every single frustration with the system encountered.

In addition, she is an outstanding clinician and Nurse who is an expert in patient care and procedures. I am eternally grateful for her compassionate and timely efforts on our behalf. Professionally Tammy is a hoo yah go-getter who has never failed to support my patients. She always finds an available appointment for a rash, lesion, or skin check because while the acuity may not be technically concerning, these symptoms are of vital importance to the patient.

Not only does she support patients in this fashion, but she also supports the mission. Just today an Officer Candidate patient was seen for a Special Duty who would have had the results of the entire exam pended waiting for an outside referral to Dermatology. Instead, Tammy arranged for the patient to be seen within the hour (!) thus allowing the PE to be completed and saved the command the necessity of a return appointment and the expense of a visit to an outside Provider.

Tammy Mounts, RN is the best and highly deserving of DAISY recognition. RN Mounts had been out of the clinic for an extended period of time due to knee surgery- upon her arrival back to the clinic, she was eager to get back into the swing of nursing care. RN Mounts recognized the fact that a reserve dermatologist had been in the clinic for 10 days seeing patients and a new provider would not be arriving for at least another month. RN Mounts recognized the fact that 3 patients had pending biopsy results and continued to monitor these patients' results despite the fact that the reservist provider had left. Her diligence In tracking these results allowed her to obtain the results of the biopsies In a timely manner. All 3 results of the patients resulted in basal cell Carcinoma which needed follow-up. RN mounts was able to relay all this information to the incoming provider for expedited follow-up and timely access to care for patients. Her dedication to her patients is admirable!
