Over the last 6 months, I have been hospitalized multiple times for serious illnesses. I seem to have had Rachel as a nurse each time, and every time I see her, she blows me out of the water. This most recent hospitalization has been terrifying, and seeing Rachel pop her head through my door was instantly calming. She remembered my name and face, and all the conversations we'd had over the previous visits here. It honestly made me feel special. Although she's had hundreds of patients to care for, she always made me feel like I and my feeling were important.

Rachel is one of the most efficient and knowledgeable nurses I've ever met. She always has a sunny, cheery disposition and is always there with a kind word. I've also witnessed her be a mentor and friend to her co-workers. The amount of teamwork on this floor is outstanding. Whenever I have Rachel as a nurse, it always takes some of my fear and anxiety away. I am beyond grateful to have a nurse like her in our community. Rachel seems like a genuinely good person in addition to being an exceptional nurse.
