When I told her that my phone was running down she asked me what kind of charger it took and came back a few minutes later with that charger. She would not let me get up to plug it she did it for me.
Elisha went out of her way to assist me during her shift. She went far and above her duties as a nurse. The reason I said during her shift, was that she was my nurse for only a few hours as I was discharged that day. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and had whatever I needed, and always asked how I was feeling. I offer one example as to why I feel the way I do. When I told her that my phone was running down she asked me what kind of charger it took and came back a few minutes later with that charger. She would not let me get up to plug it she did it for me. That quite obviously isn't one of her duties, but instead something that a caring, special individual, someone that is hard to find nowadays, would do. Her actions may not seem like much to some people, but for some of those who are in for long hospital stays her actions and her attitude would make those people feel as at home as possible. This world needs a whole lot more people just like her. If anyone is deserving of the recognition it is she and people like her. Kindness and caring are getting harder and harder to find, and any organization with people who put others above themselves truly deserves recognition.
