His willingness to be honest, while also caring, all the while being extremely accommodating to our family’s needs during our difficult time did not go unnoticed.
Recently my father was a patient at Monument Health in Rapid City. He had been in the hospital for several days before he passed, Caleb Hansen was his daytime nurse. He was so compassionate and caring and I don’t know how my mother and I could’ve gotten through without his kindness to us. His willingness to be honest, while also caring, all the while being extremely accommodating to our family’s needs during our difficult time did not go unnoticed. I even happened to see him shed a tear when my father was being taken on his “Hero Walk” from his room out of the ICU after his passing. Caleb actually set up the “Hero Walk” too. I know my dad would’ve been so proud of his exit as he was a proud veteran.
Caleb went above and beyond concerning both my father’s care and how he treated my family. I can’t thank him enough for his compassion. Monument Health is extremely lucky to have a person of his skill, bedside manner, and compassion, under their employ.
I know our experience would’ve been so much harder to deal with had it not been for Caleb. He is a truly wonderful human being and an asset to your institution.
