Kelsey came into my life on a day, for a moment, but will remain in my thoughts for the rest of my lifetime!
“Sometimes angels come into your life for a moment, a day, or a lifetime…it matters not the time they spent with you, but how they impacted your life in that time” -Unknown
I have heard this phrase in one form or another lots of times over the years. Kelsey came into my life on a day, for a moment, but will remain in my thoughts for the rest of my lifetime! Tuesday evening I met this angel! I had been bitten by a copperhead snake and the pain I was feeling was 10x what I could have ever imagined! Kelsey saw my pain! And the look in her eyes was as if she could almost feel it. At the same time, I received a feeling from her that I was in “good” care. She had a calming air about her. A professional nurse, trained to make her patient feel better during their worst. After four types of pain meds, nausea meds, anti-venom, cool washcloths, and more, I was on my way! Out of the ER to a room for observation. As I was being moved, there was a quick exchange of high fives and fist bumps! I’ll always remember her saying, “You’re one of the ‘good ones.’” (At my worst). She is one of the good ones! An angel! Thank you, Kelsey.
