From the moment I met Amber, she was extremely compassionate about my situation. As a first-time patient of the JTCC, I instantly felt comfortable being in her care. Even though she learned I was a nurse too she treated me just like any other patient. It was super nice to be treated as such and be explained and informed by someone who works in the specialty.

She went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable throughout my treatment. There was some difficulty trying to obtain IV access (but this is a typical problem for me) she didn't get frustrated (as I have experienced with others in the past) rather she reassured me that she would get it. Amber is truly the epitome of a nurse and more nurses should embody the grace and humor she has.

Post infusion I didn’t feel well for a brief moment and she went above and beyond to ensure I was safe and okay. It’s not easy being a nurse and a patient but Amber made it a pleasant experience. Her personality is truly what made this more bearable and quite frankly, an enjoyable treatment. She is such a bright light for patients and she deserves to know her impact made a huge difference.
