Loghan comforted my entire family as the stress at this point was over the top for all of us.
My story is kind of long. My family arrived due to my son M being air-lifted to Sanford from Watertown. After a couple of days of seeing my son on a ventilator and not waking up, the stress was real. Then my own health took a drastic turn. I passed out many times and the Trauma team was called; I refused help, as I did not want to leave my son’s side. By the time I passed out the 4th time, I found out after being reviewed that my heart had stopped. I then found myself in a room near my son, until I was taken to receive a Medtronic pacemaker!

Nurse Loghan was caring for my son, M, and was also tending to me. Loghan comforted my entire family as the stress at this point was over the top for all of us. My husband said that Loghan went above and beyond to make sure all of our family was informed. My husband felt M and myself were in the best place for all our medical needs. Loghan in our eyes is amazing!

I am writing this for my son, M, as his right arm is embolized and he is right-handed. M came to Sanford by helicopter. From the first moment he arrived he received outstanding care! We have had the most amazing feelings for his entire care team! Loghan, in the ICU, gave him excellent and outstanding care. This was a very stressful time for M and our family. Loghan, put us all at ease with her communication skills, care skills, and personality. Loghan made us feel M was always in good hands, even when we were not sure. M was treated with care and respect by Loghan. M was grateful for her kindness and for the time she spent reassuring him. He improved with the smallest details from his first day to his last day at Sanford. We are forever grateful!
