Lisa was amazing during my stay. She is so supportive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. She genuinely listened to my concerns and gave real solutions to my problems. My water was broken by my doctor, and we were waiting for my contractions to start. The doctor wanted to start some medicine to get things going but I wanted to wait a bit more to see if things would start naturally.

Lisa advocated for me to my doctor which allowed me a little more time and my contractions did start on their own. Lisa helped keep me calm during my epidural insertion and when my contractions got really bad Lisa was there to hold my hand and talk me through my contractions with deep breathing. While I was pushing it was noted that my baby had his cord around his neck and Lisa helped keep me calm and focused on getting the baby out instead of panicking. She always talked calmly and with compassion; I never felt judged or talked down to.

After my baby was born, she let me have all the time I wanted with my baby and never pushed me to do anything I didn't want to do. This is my third child and Lisa is by far the best nurse I have ever had. She is amazing at her job and before even leaving the hospital I had an overwhelming feeling of thankfulness for getting Lisa as a nurse.
