I was telling her how sad I was that I would never get the newborn pictures of her and she said “well we’re going to fix that!” She helped me pick out an outfit and we got her dressed.
Courtney was the very first night shift nurse my baby had. So that there means so much to me as she was born at 29 weeks and 5 days, so she was extremely critical! During our stay, she truly never made me smile so much during this difficult time. Just seeing her the room lights up! One night she was my baby’s nurse and I was telling her how sad I was that I would never get the newborn pictures of her and she said “well we’re going to fix that!” She helped me pick out an outfit and we got her dressed. As we took her pictures tears were falling. God put her there knowing it was what we needed at that moment in time and I will have these pictures forever. Sometimes it’s truly just the smallest things that make you breathe a little bit easier and get to escape from the frightening journey we are living. Without her, I would never have these pictures that mean so much.
